How to use this peptide dosage calculator

    1. Select a peptide (or Custom) and confirm vial size in mg.
    2. Enter bacteriostatic water volume in mL.
    3. Enter your desired dose in mcg.
    4. Read the insulin syringe units to draw — plus concentration, volume, and doses per vial.
    5. Use Cycle planner to estimate vials for a full protocol, Convert for unit math, and Blend for dual-peptide vials.

    How the peptide calculator works

Most research peptides ship as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. You reconstitute them with bacteriostatic water, then draw doses with an insulin syringe. A U-100 syringe holds 1 mL = 100 units. This free tool converts vial size, BAC water, and target dose into the unit mark to draw — the same workflow people search for as a peptide reconstitution calculator or peptide dosage calculator.

    The core formula

Concentration (mcg per unit) = (vial mg × 1000) ÷ (BAC water mL × 100). Units to draw = desired dose (mcg) ÷ concentration.

    Example: 5 mg BPC-157 + 2 mL BAC water, 250 mcg dose

    • Total peptide: 5,000 mcg in 2 mL → 2,500 mcg/mL
    • Per insulin unit: 2,500 ÷ 100 = 25 mcg/unit
    • Draw for 250 mcg: 250 ÷ 25 = 10 units

    Tips for accurate reconstitution

    • Less water = stronger concentration = larger unit marks for the same dose (easier to measure).
    • Never shake reconstituted peptides — swirl gently.
    • Refrigerate after reconstitution. Discard per sterility guidelines.
    • Weekly injectables (semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide): set injections/day to ~0.14 in the cycle planner.
    • Blends (Wolverine, GLOW, KLOW, CJC/Ipa): confirm each peptide mg on the label; use the Blend tab when dose ratios differ.

    Peptide calculator FAQ

    What is a peptide calculator?

A peptide calculator helps you reconstitute lyophilized peptides and convert a target dose (mcg or mg) into insulin syringe units based on vial size and bacteriostatic water volume.

    Is this peptide calculator free?

Yes. BrainFlow’s peptide dosage and reconstitution calculator is free to use — no account required.

How do I calculate peptide dosage in units?

Enter vial mg, BAC water mL, and dose in mcg. The tool outputs units on a U-100 (or U-50 / U-30) insulin syringe, plus mcg/mL concentration and doses per vial.

Does it support peptide blends like GLOW, KLOW, and Wolverine?

Yes. Wolverine (BPC-157/TB-500), GLOW (BPC/TB-500/GHK-Cu), KLOW (GLOW + KPV), and CJC/Ipamorelin blends are in the library. Use Blend mode when two peptides share one vial.

    Can I share my calculation?

After you change peptide or dose fields, the URL updates with shareable parameters (pep, vial, bac, dose) so you can bookmark or send a protocol link. The clean /peptide-calculator/ URL stays uncluttered until you interact.
